This summer, Delhi saw highest number of heatwaves in 11 years

This summer, Delhiites experienced the highest number of heatwave days in 12 years. While the city’s main weather station, Safdarjung, has recorded 13 heatwave days so far, some stations have logged as many as 34 since March, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
